In the countryside above L 'Ampolla you will find this special and sympathetically restored farmhouse.
Much care has been taken to use local materials in it´s renovation and it really is a house full of history!
It is located on 3.4 hectares of well maintained olive grove and is connected to mains electricity and has it´s own well also. It also has 3 good sized cisternas for rainwater collection to supplement the house and/or garden.
You enter the property through some impressive wrought iron gates and onto the house. There is a lawned area (yes!, real grass!) in front of the house where there is a bbq and bread oven and this leads to a covered shady terrace area. This area (and the whole ground floor of the house) is tiles with original local tiles ( from Pinell el Brai). Leading into the house there is a lovely large arched door which is framed by original arched stones reclaimed from another old property.

An archway leads to the dining / living area which is a double height room with an impressive stone fireplace, a restored cisterna, and is decorated with many old and new original pottery pieces with the walls being the original stone of the original casita.

Both bedrooms have a double aspect with views of Coll de la Mola (the mountains behind) and the land surrounding the house. There are also 2 shower rooms with toilet and basin on this level.
Stairs from the main hallway lead upstairs to a studio lounge with a double bedroom just off it. A door from the lounge area leads onto a sunny terrace with lovely views of the sea and the Ebro Delta and to L'Ampolla.
From the downstairs hallway there is another door which leads to another staircase leading downstairs to the garage area. This is also tiled and decorated very nicely and there is plenty of room for a car and the owner also has his studio down here too in the other half of the garage.
Attached to the garage on the outside is a small storage shed which houses the irrigation system and the boiler for the gasoil central heating.
The whole roof when refurbished was totally insulated against the cold and hot weather.
