A very unusual but magnificent house, built to a high standard by the present owner’s uncle. Originally valued in 2008 at €620.000 (and considered then to be a bargain). Empty for a number of years so will need decorating but nothing major! it is difficult to describe this house in just a few words..

There are 2 vehicle entrances, the first leads past the front entry door to the house, down past the garage and exits the property by a second gate.

The front door enters directly into the lounge, which has a built-in log burner with ample storage for logs. The lounge is huge .. there is room for at least 3 large dining tables plus armchairs/settees plus dressers. Off the lounge is a WC and the kitchen – there is also an open serving hatch between lounge and kitchen. The kitchen itself is large enough for another dining table and is fully fitted with ample high and low-level cupboards (11 of each!), double sink and washing machine; exit door to swimming pool area. This lounge area leads on to the huge master bedroom with built-in double wardrobes, and an equally impressive en-suite bathroom with twin basins, bath, bidet plus two WCs. Views from 2 aspects, in particular with brilliant views of Buixcaro mountain.

Returning to the lounge, the wide tread stairs continue down. At the bottom of the stairs there is a large storage room used by the owner for wine and what-have-you, with access from the store room to a second very low-ceilinged storage area suitable for wine and long-term storage. Also, at the bottom of the stairs there is a large room suitable as a general working area or workshop, the entire side of the room is a long work surface (approximately 7 metres long). Off this work area there is a further small room for storage of approximately 4 sq. m, from this small room there is access by a narrow passage-way to the sun room – see below – adjoining the swimming pool area.

The stairs continue down 5 furthers steps through double sliding glass doors into the garage which itself has double doors for vehicles and room for at least 2 cars. Off the garage is a room with double sink and extractor that could be used as a laundry room or kitchen. Also off the garage is another shower room with bidet, WC and shower area plus a further storage room.

The sun room is fully glazed with folding window panels and overlooks the pool area. The swimming pool is an unusual trapezoidal shaped pool (3-4m per side) with both a ladder and metal framed steps, extremely private and not overlooked (sun room excepted!). The pool is adjoined by a large terrace with 8 pillars on each of which is a figure from Snow White and the 7 dwarfs! The terrace leads through to a large outside, covered barbecue area with built-in double fire areas and Roman oven. The surrounding gardens are huge and terraced with mature trees – lemons, avocado, olive, grape vine, kiwi-fruit, nisparo, kaki (persimmon), various herbs and more. There are ample water points and sinks throughout the garden.

Below the house and gardens there is a large area for domestic animals with covered cages suitable for chickens, rabbits and even pigs, together with storage sheds for feed.
